Riverside Apartments — Kangaroo Point
A complete exterior transformation for a 48-unit riverside apartment complex in Kangaroo Point. The body corporate committee engaged Tier 1 Painting to restore the building's facade and modernise its appearance while protecting surfaces against Brisbane's harsh UV and coastal conditions.
The Challenge
The existing paint was severely weathered with extensive peeling on the northern facade. Access was complicated by the riverside location, and work needed to be staged to minimise disruption to residents and maintain balcony access throughout.
Our Solution
We developed a staged work plan in consultation with the strata manager, completing one section at a time. Full surface preparation included pressure washing, crack filling, and anti-corrosion treatment on all metal railings. Two coats of premium UV-resistant exterior paint were applied to all surfaces.
The Result
The project was completed on time and within budget. The body corporate received overwhelmingly positive feedback from residents, and the building's street appeal was dramatically improved — contributing to increased property values within the complex.
